Telecommunication Chamber of Ukraine (TCU) introduced a new structure of the Association. It includes 7 companies that are Datagroup, MEGOGO, WILL, Emplot, Frinet, Viasat, Airbites. New TCU members, which operate legally, respecting the current legislation, teamed up to create equal conditions for doing business, clear regulation of all segments of the telecommunications market and boost its investment attractiveness. They confirmed their intention by signing the Declaration on the honest business operations.
By signing the Declaration, each member agrees to abide by the principles of fair play in the market, without any violations of the law in the field of telecommunications, pay-TV, as well as the laws on protection of economic competition. The legal major players that became the new association members will join their efforts to create a level playing field for all telecommunication services providers and promote transparent management of all the segments of the television market and high-speed Internet access.
The key objectives of the TCU are the improvement of the field legislation; the development of self-regulation industry of pay-TV and telecommunications; the fight against dumping and illegal methods of doing business; the fight against illegal content distribution; the establishment of cooperation with law enforcement authorities.
In addition to the new structure and strategic goals, TCU also presented its new logo. TCU members also re-elected the association management. Tatiana Popova was elected as the Chairman of the Council. Sergey Boyko became the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, and Konstantin Gritsak was re-elected as the Association executive director.
TCU presentation was attended by representatives of relevant government departments, industry regulators and the media.

Telecommunication Chamber of Ukraine Association is a voluntary non-governmental non-profit organization, association of legal entities that was established in 2007 with the purpose of development of telecommunications, software services, as well as representation and protection of common interests of its members in Ukraine. The Chamber unites legal entities operating in the pay-TV market who are telecom operators, software providers and their associations.
