on 9 October in Kyiv hosted the third annual international summit of mayors. The event gathered more than a hundred mayors and their assistants as well as supervisors of'United territorial communities from all corners of the country. Mayors, experts on regional development, foreign colleagues from 10 European countries as well as representatives of business shared their experiences, innovations and best practices of local government. “Datagroup” became one of the main partners of the summit and briefed the participants in their decisions: “Secure town” and “E-medicine”.
“Company “Datagroup” for the second year running supports the international summit of mayors. Primarily for us it is a great platform of communication with mayors and understanding that they need. Also, our partnership with small cities – the social contribution of business to development of our country. Today we work on three thematic priorities: the first – bridging the digital divide; the second – “Secure town”, the third – “Electronic medicine», – says CEO «Datagroup” Michael Shelembe.
Gadyach became a pilot region in which implemented the above mentioned projects. In the current year for these projects "Datagroup” received the prestigious award, Telecom Awards for social importance, for the benefit of society and the charitable component. Now the development companies are another 40 potential projects that can be implemented in the Ukrainian cities. Therefore, supporting this summit, experts «Datagroup” hoping to find more like-minded people who strive in the near future to implement qualitative changes in the field. The philosophy of cooperation between cities and business, innovative approaches that can be implemented at the local level – is one of the main vectors of development of “Datagroup” for the next two years.
