In November 2015 Datagroup, the National communication provider, first in Ukraine presented the special-purpose armoured vehicles — two mobile banking offices based on the chassis of the truck «KrAZ». The project has been designed by the order of JSC «Oschadbank». The armoured banking offices for several months have been servicing the citizens living in the front-line settlements of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the military personnel and law enforcement officials staying in the military bases and in ATO area.
Using the travelling mobile banking office (hereinafter TMBO), everyone who lives or resides in the
front-line territory or in ATO area, can use services of Oschadbank. Currently residents of remote settlements, where banking offices are completely missing, get salaries, pensions and other social payments, as well as they can set up payment cards, refill card accounts via the POS-terminal, etc.
Based on results of mobile offices operation it may be noted that the designed project has reached the stated objectives and has justified its intended purpose. Daily, each vehicle serves from 70 to 100 people.
TMBO — is an autonomous armoured fully-featured mobile complex furnished with the required equipment for banking processes implementation and maximum comfort provision for customers of the bank. The mobile banking complex has the armourer cabin, according to DSTU 3975-2000, engine compartment, fuel tank and KUNG shelter, where the compartments for customers and operators are located. The engine compartment is equipped with a fire-extinguishing system. It provides the complete safety for bank customers and its employees.
The traveling mobile banking office is equipped with the modern satellite communication station at a bit rate up to 5 Mbit/s. The satellite antenna is mounted on the external platform, which is automatically tuned up to the satellite. 3G GSM-Gateway is set to backup the satellite communication channel. The connection to fixed telecommunication networks and electric grids is provided as well. The local computer network is deployed. The stable link provides 24 hour digital stream, documents exchange, e-mail use and access to databases of the bank’s corporate network. The satellite station operates anywhere in Ukraine, making possible the customer service in areas where land lines are missing or partially damaged.
The armoured office is equipped with 8 cameras video monitoring, providing video fixation of events inside and outside TMBO. Internally the mobile office is divided into two zones: the customer and the operator compartments. The armoured partition is mounted between the compartments, with a special window designed for visitors’ assets and documents transfer, as well as a hatch for cash bags.
The customers’ comfort is ensured by two teller’s windows, three waiting spaces present in the customer compartment, as well as the air conditioner and heater, maintaining the optimum temperature in the compartment.
The operator compartment consists of two fully-featured working spaces with the needed equipment: computer, telephone, currency detector, counting cash register equipment, intercommunication devices, printer and an individual burglar-proof safe.
Modern engineering solutions applied in the shelter manufacturing, comply with ecological, health and fire protection norms and regulations.
